Think of your forefathers.

FRIDAY marks a historic day for the Indian community in South Africa. For it was on November 16, 1860, that our forefathers landed at Addington Beach, Durban, as indentured labourers, 147 years ago.

If these people did not take the effort to leave their mother country and go to a country (South Africa) which they wouldn't have even heard about before I wouldn't have been in this position. I thank all my forefathers who came to South Africa and toiled themselves in the Sugarcane Plantation and gave their future generations this luxurious life. So all South African Indians on this day please think of your forefathers.

Bro's B'day

The Results for the Expo has come

I came first in my class and Mahesh came first in his class. Dont think this is the cup they gave us HA HA haaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!

A Science and Art expo

On the 26th and 27th of this month we had a science and Arts expo at school. My friends and me made a project over Advertising for Commerce and Cottage and Small scale industries for Economics. There were 10 sections in total. Our section was Commerce. We are waiting for the results. There were 7 judges from different fields. The results will be tomorrow.

A very Thrilling travel

The Latest thing which was most thrilling in my life is Samyuktha (my cousin) and I went see a story telling directed by Samyuktha's mom - Pritham Chakravarthy in Alliance France (Chetpet - Chennai). It was on 28/10/07 (SUNDAY). It was heavily raining. We took a train from Chromepet to Nungambakkam and took a Auto Rickshaw to Alliance France. We enjoyed to Story telling and when it finished it was 8.30 PM. We had a lift to Chetpet Station by a friend. He dropped us near the Station and we did not know the way to station. Then we again took a Auto Rickshaw to the station. Then at the station it was dark and it was raining heavily. The station was accomodating more than 70 beggars most of them drunk. It was Sunday and the trains came once in 20 minutes. I was standing praying that the train comes as fast as it could come to station. Then a train came. My cousin and me did not want to get into any confusion so both of us got onto a same compartment. It was so unfortunate we got onto a ladies compartment . After few stations a very sincere train guard wanted me to get down and go to the General compartment . I had the tickets in my pocket so when I got of the train my sister had to come with me to the other compartment which was crowded. Then when we came to my place due to heavy rains the roads were flooded. Then when we came to our house it was 10 in the night. Then we had our supper . It may look funny but my heart was beating very hard for more than 1 and a 1/2 hour.
